The sporting stadium Estadio Azteca is located in Mexico City, Mexico. It has a capacity of 87,523, and is the largest stadium in Mexico. It is used mainly for Football (soccer). It is the official home stadium of the Mexico national football team and the Mexican team Club América.
This stadium was once as high as 5th on the list of World's Largest Sporting Stadiums when it was listed as having a capacity of 114,600 spectators. It is currently listed as having a capacity of 87,523 (March 2021). The opening match at the 2026 World Cup will be held at Estadio Azteca.
