The new sport of Balloon Hand Ball was created by Kisakye Hakim from Uganda in 2022. It a hand balloon game, with the ball made of a balloon and involves using one hand at a time, legs are not allowed to be used.

Equipment Required: A Balloon oval ball with great thinness, light, adequate pressure just like a glove when ballooned. There is no formal made equipment for it at the moment, but improvising with balloons and gloves.

Sport Description

It is a hand balloon game, with the ball made of a balloon and involves using one hand at a time, legs are not allowed to be used. The head can be used, the palm of the hand is not acceptable, but finger tips can be used. On the hand the other parts are used in the game, but it is not to stop at any point, not to be held on the body.

The movements of the legs are limited in the circle only and moving out of the circle, means you have lost.

The hand/ arm not in use is not to be used till the elapse of the five minutes and to change from one arm to another, it has to be coming from an anatomic position or from the back.
Whenever you dribble the ball on your arm, you gain points each plays 15 minutes if doesn't lose the ball, if you lose, the opponent takes up.

If one finishes the 15, the opponent pays the 15 and the first comes back for 15 and then the other concludes with the fifteen, the total points are then added. And the overall winner takes three points and draw is one each.

One hand or arm used at a time and standing or sitting in one position.
- A circle may be drawn around his feet or sitting area to mark his/her initial position.
- The play is in shifts one after the other.
- Teams can compete with each team having one individual in play.
- Every time the balloon ball is hit by the part of the arm of head you get a point.
- Legs are not used in the game at all.
- The balloon ball in to be maintained up and not to touch the ground.
- The player is not allowed to move from his/her initial starting position, but only move the arm and it's part, though he can rotate in the same position not to loose the balloon ball.
- The balloon ball is to be maintained in the arm's proximity, once it goes off the arm's proximity you have ended your round and your opponent comes into play.
- The one who accumulate more points, wins the game.
- Once one moves from the initial position chasing the ball, the round ends there and the opponent comes into play.
