Here are the top-paid women athletes from around the world for 2019-20 according to the figures from Forbes Magazine. Again this year it is a tennis player, though Naomi Osaka has knocked Serena Williams from the top spot she has held for several years. Osaka and Williams were also the only women in the list of the top 100 highest paid athletes for 2020, ranking 29th and 33rd respectively.
Tennis players made up the top nine sportswomen on the list, tenth was US women's soccer player Alex Morgan (last year all ten were tennis players).
