The 25th edition of the Winter Olympic Games will be held in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy. The Games will be held from February 6–22, 2026.

The opening ceremony is scheduled to be held at San Siro Stadium in Milan and the closing is scheduled for Verona Arena.
Ski mountaineering is a new sport for the 2026 program, plus several new events have been added to existing sports. See the list of sports for 2026.
The Olympic Torch Relay will pass through all 110 provinces of Italy. The torch relay, starting November 26, 2025, will cover a distance of 12,000 km over 63 days.

- The Winter Olympics were also hosted in Cortina d'Ampezzo in 1956.
- It will be the first Olympic Games officially featuring multiple host cities.
- It will be the first Winter Olympics since Sarajevo 1984 where the opening and closing ceremonies will be held in different venues.
- For the first time a sport will be conducted outside of the Winter Olympics host country. The sliding sports for Milan Cortina 2026 is expected to be held outside of Italy.
- The mascots are Tina and Milo, two brother and sister stoats. Their names are derived from the two host cities: Tina for Cortina and Milo for Milano. Tina is the Olympic mascot, Milo the Paralympic mascot. See more about Winter Olympic Mascots.
