AFL Combine Best Performace for Each Year

At the end of each year the AFL conducts a draft camp combine in which prospective AFL players are put through a battery of fitness, physical and psychomotor tests (see Description of Combine Tests). The National AFL Draft began in 1986, though a draft camp with fitness testing was not conducted until 1994.

Below are the known top scores from each year for many of the fitness tests that are conducted. See also the top 10 results lists from 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024. There are also the top 5 results from 2002, and selected results from 1999, 2000, and 2001. Recently, the AFL have introduced a combine rating score, primarily for use with younger footballers to compare their scores. There are also some research papers using draft camp test results published.
