The step test is an easy to administer sub-maximal test of cardiovascular endurance. These step test apps are based on the 3-minute Queens College Step Test procedure, ideal for testing your own fitness.
The app does all the work for you so you can concentrate on the test. The app has an internal metronome to help you keep pace for the three minutes (different rate for males and females), then you are guided guided through the counting of their heart rate for 15 seconds. The heart rate measurement is used to determine your level of aerobic fitness and predicted V02max.
