This dessert is very special in its sneaky way of increasing nutritional content with no one realizing due to the chocolate disguise. It is so worth a try, and should be easy for most!
Ingredients (serves 2-3)
- 1 ripe avocado
- 60g rolled oats
- 60g medjool dates
- 2 tsp cocoa powder
- 2 tsp almond meal
- 200ml milk
- Ice/cold water as needed
Method
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
- Adjust the liquid ingredient quantities to suit the desired consistency
- For mousse consistency use more avocado and almond meal, less milk and ice
- For a smoothie, add more water and milk
- Adjust the cocoa level for the desired chocolate flavor
